Welcome to This Baker Quilts LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, www.thisbakerquilts.com (“Site”), and all digital products, videos, classes, downloads, and services offered by us (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the Site immediately.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this Site or purchase our products. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. DIGITAL PRODUCTS & CONTENT LICENSE

2.1 Single-User License

All digital quilt patterns, instructional PDFs, original videos, templates, classes, and downloads purchased from This Baker Quilts LLC are licensed for one (1) individual purchaser only.

Purchasing a digital product grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial, personal-use license.
You are not purchasing ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

2.2 Prohibited Copying, Sharing, & Distribution

You agree NOT to:

  • Duplicate or distribute digital files

  • Share, email, or transfer files to others

  • Upload files to Facebook groups, forums, cloud drives, or shared folders

  • Share screenshots, instructions, or excerpts of paid content

  • Share class login information, links, or video access

  • Print multiple copies for others

Any form of unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited.

2.3 No Resale or Commercial Use

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense any pattern, PDF, video, or download

  • Modify a pattern and claim it as your own

  • Use our patterns to develop your own pattern for sale

  • Package our patterns into kits or bundles for resale

  • Use class materials to teach your own classes

  • Use videos, worksheets, or instructions for commercial instruction without written permission

Unauthorized use may result in account termination and legal or financial action.

2.4 Allowed Uses

You may:

  • Print one copy for your personal use

  • Store files on your personal device(s)

  • Create quilts for yourself or for sale in limited quantities

  • Sell finished quilts made from our patterns

    • Designer credit is required: “Pattern by This Baker Quilts LLC”

You may not mass-produce items, manufacture for wholesale, or engage in large-scale commercial use without a separate commercial license.

2.5 Intellectual Property

All patterns, tutorials, text, videos, classes, templates, graphics, and digital content are copyrighted and remain the exclusive property of This Baker Quilts LLC.

2.6 Originality & No Infringement

All quilt patterns, tutorials, digital content, and materials provided by This Baker Quilts LLC are original works created by the Company. While some designs may resemble other patterns in style, structure, or concept, any similarity is entirely unintentional.

You agree not to hold This Baker Quilts LLC liable for claims of similarity or infringement arising from the use of our products.

If you believe a product inadvertently infringes on your work, please contact us promptly at jen@thisbakerquilts.com and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

3. SERVICES (CURRENT & FUTURE)

Our Site may offer:

  • Digital quilt patterns

  • Instructional PDFs

  • Online classes or workshops

  • Original videos and tutorials

  • Blog content

  • Longarm quilting services (current or future)

  • Memberships or subscription content

Additional service-specific terms may apply and will be provided at purchase or enrollment.

4. PAYMENTS & PRICING

All payments are processed securely through Squarespace Commerce and its payment partners (such as Stripe or PayPal).

Prices may change at any time without notice.

5. REFUND POLICY

5.1 Digital Products

Due to their nature, all digital product sales are final and non-refundable.

If you have issues downloading a file, email us at jen@thisbakerquilts for assistance.

5.2 Classes & Workshops

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Refunds are available up to 14 days before the class start date.

  • After accessing class content or once the class begins, refunds are not available.

5.3 Longarm Quilting Services

Refunds, deposits, and cancellation terms for longarm services will be listed on the service page. Some deposits may be non-refundable.

6. ACCOUNT CREATION

You may need an account to access certain products or classes. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information

  • Keep your login secure

  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. PROHIBITED USES

You may not use the Site or Services to:

  • Break any laws or regulations

  • Harass, defraud, or harm others

  • Interfere with website functionality

  • Copy, scrape, or mine data

  • Gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts

  • Distribute pirated versions of patterns, videos, or downloads

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Site and all Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

  • That the Site will be error-free

  • That files will be compatible with your device

  • Any specific quilting, sewing, or crafting results

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, This Baker Quilts LLC is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits, data, or business

  • Issues arising from your use or inability to use our digital products or services
